Design/ Build guest house project for a Lake House, in Moneta, VA.
The clients has a beautiful small and secluded house on Smith Mountain lake in Virginia, but they had oversized groups of friends. To accommodate the outsized socializing they imaged a guest house in the trees near their house overlooking the lake. We designed a small 10’ x 10’ cabin with small deck and removable ladder, writing desk and bunk bed for the most efficient use of the small space. With help from their family and friends we built the cabin in a Summer, with continued improvements to comes summers later.
